How do I connect Google Fit to whattoBite?

Accepted Answer

Open the Profile tab, scroll to Integrations, and tap Google Fit. On the next screen, tap Connect Google Fit and allow activity access when your phone asks. Once connected, your steps, workouts and active calories start flowing into whattoBite so your daily targets can reflect how much you actually move. This feature is currently available on Android; Apple Health sync for iPhone is coming soon.

What activity data does whattoBite read from my phone?

With your permission, whattoBite reads your steps, distance, workout sessions, active and total calories burned, and last night's sleep. It reads this through Health Connect, Android's central health hub, so it works with whichever tracker you already use — Google Fit, Samsung Health, Fitbit, Mi Fitness and most others. whattoBite only reads this data; it never writes or changes anything in your health records, and you can revoke access at any time.

Why did my calorie target go up today?

Accepted Answer

That's your activity paying off. On days you move more than usual, whattoBite adds a small, conservative calorie bonus to your target — you'll see it on the Move & Sleep card on your Home screen as a +kcal badge. The bonus is deliberately modest (capped at 400 kcal) because fitness trackers tend to overestimate calories burned, and everyday movement is already built into your plan. It applies to today only — past and future days keep their normal plan targets.

Does whattoBite use my sleep data?

Yes. If your tracker records sleep, the Move & Sleep card on your Home screen shows a short coaching tip based on last night's rest — for example, on a short-sleep night it reminds you that cravings hit harder and suggests front-loading protein. If you don't see sleep tips, make sure your watch or tracker app is saving sleep data to Health Connect and that whattoBite has sleep access.

How do I disconnect Google Fit?

Go to the Profile tab, open Integrations, tap Google Fit, and tap Disconnect. This revokes whattoBite's access to your health data on your device. You can also revoke access directly inside the Health Connect app on your phone at any time — whattoBite will notice and show the integration as disconnected.

What is the Health Profile?

Health Profile is a Pro feature that lets your diet read your body, not just your preferences. Open the Profile tab and tap Health Profile to upload blood reports and prescriptions, list your medications, and record digestion symptoms like acidity, bloating or IBS. whattoBite decodes your reports into biomarkers and uses everything to shape the meals it generates — and Watto, your AI coach, keeps it all in mind too.

How do I upload a medical report?

In Health Profile, tap Upload your first report (or Add another report), choose the report type — Blood report, Prescription, or Other report — and then take a photo, pick an image from your gallery, or upload a PDF. Lab PDFs work great, including multi-page ones, as long as they're under 10 MB. whattoBite extracts your biomarkers automatically, and you get to review everything before it touches your plan.

How does my blood report actually change my diet?

After your report is read and you confirm it, whattoBite flags any biomarkers that are low or high and turns them — along with your medications and gut symptoms — into practical rules for meal generation. You can see exactly what's being applied in the 'How this shapes your plan' card at the top of your Health Profile. Remember, whattoBite adapts your nutrition; it never diagnoses or replaces your doctor.

How do I order my meal ingredients on Swiggy Instamart?

Open any meal and tap Order on Swiggy Instamart. The first time, you'll connect your Swiggy account; after that, whattoBite finds each ingredient on Instamart, pre-picks a product for every one, and lets you swap products, adjust quantities, or search for extra groceries. You can then add everything to your Instamart cart in one tap and either place the order with Cash on Delivery right from whattoBite or finish it in the Swiggy app. This is a whattoBite Pro feature, currently available on iPhone.

Is Swiggy Instamart ordering available on Android?

Accepted Answer

Not yet — Instamart ordering is currently available on iPhone, and the Android app shows it as Coming Soon. The whattoBite team is working on bringing it to Android. In the meantime, you can still view every meal's full ingredient list in the app and shop for it however you prefer.

Question 11

Can I track my Instamart order inside whattoBite?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After you place an order through whattoBite, tap Track Order to follow its progress — the status refreshes automatically every 30 seconds. You can also see your recent Instamart orders under Profile, then Integrations, then Swiggy Instamart. The order itself is a real Swiggy order, so it also appears in your Swiggy app as usual.
