Pro turns whattoBite into your always-on AI dietitian. You get a fresh plan every week that adapts daily when life gets in the way, smart cheat meals built around your patterns, full-macro meal logging, photo logging, unlimited chat with Watto, health report intelligence, PDF export, and your complete unblurred history and analytics. The Free plan includes one plan a month, basic meal logging, and your last two plans in history. How much does Pro cost?

In India, Pro is ₹129 per month or ₹999 per year — the yearly plan works out to about ₹83 a month, so it is the best value. Pro is identical on both plans; only the billing cycle differs. The final price is always shown by Google Play at checkout in your local currency, so what you see there is exactly what you pay.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. New users are offered a 7-day free trial of Pro during onboarding — just tap 'Start free today' on the offer screen and no payment details are needed. Separately, if you subscribe through Google Play, a free trial may be attached to a plan for first-time subscribers; the checkout screen will clearly show a trial badge whenever one is available. Trials are offered once per account, so if you have subscribed before you will see the standard offer instead.

How does the free trial work, and will I be charged?

The onboarding trial gives you full Pro access for 7 days with nothing to pay and no card required — when it ends, you simply move back to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe. While your trial is running, you will see a small 'Trial' countdown pill at the top of the home screen; tap it any time to keep Pro. If you start a free trial through Google Play instead, billing begins when the trial ends, and you can cancel in Google Play before that day to pay nothing.

How do I subscribe to Pro?

Open the upgrade screen from anywhere in the app (for example, Profile > Subscription, or any Pro feature prompt), pick Yearly or Monthly, and tap the Start button. On Android, payment is handled securely by Google Play using your Google account's payment method. Once payment is confirmed, Pro unlocks right away and you will see a celebration screen welcoming you in.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to the Profile tab, tap Subscription, then tap 'Manage subscription'. If you subscribed on Android, this opens Google Play, where you can cancel or change your plan in a few taps — you can also do it directly in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. If you subscribed through the whattoBite website, the same button opens your account page on whattobite.com instead. There are no calls or emails needed, and your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If I cancel, do I lose Pro immediately?

Accepted Answer

No. When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. The Subscription screen in your Profile will show 'Access until' followed by the date your access ends, with a 'Cancelled' note.

Question 8

I got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to whattoBite with the same account you used before — your subscription is linked to your account. If you subscribed through Google Play and Pro does not appear, open the upgrade screen and tap 'Restore purchases' at the bottom; make sure your phone is signed in to the same Google account you purchased with.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly plans?

Yes. Go to the Profile tab, tap Subscription, then 'Manage subscription' to open Google Play, where you can change your plan. Pro is exactly the same on both plans, so switching only changes how often you are billed.

How do I request a refund?

Accepted Answer

If you subscribed on Android, your payment was processed by Google Play, so refund requests are handled through Google Play's own refund process — open Google Play, go to Payments & subscriptions, and request a refund for the order. If you subscribed through the whattoBite website, or you need any help with billing, reach out to the whattoBite team via Profile > Support & Legal > Contact Support and we will look into it.

Why am I not being offered a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Free trials are introductory offers for first-time subscribers, and they can only be used once per account. If you have ever had a whattoBite plan before — even one you cancelled — the trial will not appear again, and you will see the standard pricing instead. Trial availability also depends on the offer currently running in Google Play, so it may not always be attached to every plan. The monthly plan is a low-cost way to try Pro again for a full month.
